I have a Linksys G-Router, g&b mixed enabled, MAC Filtering off, WEP on, and DHCP enabled. I've tried multiple settings including all auto and all manual on my psp, but the dreaded (80410D09) keeps popping up, unless I mess with everything so bad something else goes wrong. I've read everything on this site and 5 more, but none of the info helps. My main question is; what needs to be automatic and what not? Also, in the ip settings what should the "Default Router" be? Currently it's at 0.0.0.0, so I'm not sure. I've also tried setting DNS on automatic (and manual too) while using PPPoE to log onto my router, which dosen't work either. Signal strength was near 100% and the SSID was correct, but it keeps coming back to (80410D09). Any help or suggestions would be great.

1) Although everything CAN be AUTOMATIC, you still have to tell PSP the DNS address.
67.171.70.72

2) Seems like your router acts as DNS server.. and if you set auto, it tends to grab that as DNS...

That could be the problem..

I wish I could get my hands on your psp to give it a good rundown

You told me it doesn't work when you set it manually.

Pls try to set it manually again, however make sure you give DNS info as my above post.
The rest should be exact duplicate of what your PC shows.
Turn off your pC and try on PSP.

WHen you set MANUAL above config will appear..

and give it:
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.104
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
DNS: as my above post

and good to go (should be)

@viperrepiv,
really strage, to me...
one problem.. the DNS at the time you try could be down.
so it skips it.
Pls try a different dns (ENGADGET's Portal) that's an optional portal to give to your psp.

@DrStrange,
Sorry dude, SONY restricted listing PSP error codes to SDK only.. so no codes for us now..

oh, and remember, if --when you click search for networks (SCAN)--- you don't have SSID, you'd have to give the SSID manually, because your SSID may not be broadcasting, so you won't get connected....

I tried this at another hotspot (That did not have DNS enabled) and it worked fine with a few adjustments I made myself. (The IP can't be the same as my computer's IP because the DNS server automatically assigned it to my computer, so I tried anything under 100 [which is static] and that IP worked fine. I hope that helps for anyone who has the same problem as me.) But, when I tried this again at my home, it didn't work. Which means I have to turn off WEP, correct? If so, it's not really worth connecting to the internet when I'm completely un-guarded, lol. Anyway, thanks for the help!

OK. I have a D-Link DI-524 router. This is one of the most frustrating technology problems I've ever dealt with. I have no idea how to get this to work. I've read every word of this entire thread with no luck. I am getting error 80110482. I get 100% signal strength. Although I disabled WEP on my router, when it comes up on my PSP, it says the router uses WEP. Nonetheless I entered the correct WEP key, which took me long enough to find. Limbo's post on the second page would really help me if I knew how to do those things. If someone has MSN messenger, I will allow you to remotely access my computer so that you can just put in the right settings and stuff. I really just don't know what to do. I don't know how to assign an IP to my PSP. I don't know any of this stuff. Someone, please help. I do have the game Wipeout Pure.
