Best Case for the PSP?
Hi All, my PSP is set to arrive tomorrow morning. I need a case that doesn't add much bulk to the PSP yet still protects. I don't like those silicone cases so those are out of the question.

What's the best case for the PSP? Thanks.

I have the pelican skincase but I have been waiting for the logitech one to come out. Supposedly Gamestop and Ebgames are going to have them in store today. pdaextreme and proporta also have the metal cases in stock but I'm not sure if they are the same as logitech.

I am waiting for Logitech PlayGear Pocket for the psp to come out. That case looks amazing! It is made of a durable metal case and it does not seem bulky at all. It also has openings for all the jacks etc. The cover can also rotate so that it props up the psp so that if you have a movie, you can simply sit back and watch. I think this is a must have...must see it when i get it...will comment and give reviews then.

I plan on getting the Nyko charger case when I get my PSP and when it comes out, looks good and I probably won't be playing my PSP while its in the case so the charger seems the way to go for me. Otherwise the Logitech case looks great and same with PDair leathercase, which I might get as well.

I've had aluminum (metal) cases before. Most recently a RhinoSkin Aluminum Hard Case for both my Axim X3i and X30H... they add a god deal of bulk and weight, not something that I want in a case. Sure, the Logitech one looks sweet but for me, I don't think it's that practical.

I might just wind up buying a case I saw at the store the other day... can't remember the name of it... it has compartments for games and such... I think Pelican makes it. Not sure...

Any other case suggestions? Thanks.

look's good ouch on price.
I 1st saw the nyko on a link and then jumped in the forum for info and yes this thing looks really good. battery up to 3xmore!! not bad, speakers, good!! ok. hand held for games i agree so could deal without speakers but if the so called t.v. addapt comes out speakers sound even better, plus a sleek case and doenst seem to bulky and of course the mini stand. the price seems a little but if you are going to start buying everything separately, you may pay more than what you think... don't get me wrong i'm not promoting this thing in fact I'm still trying to convice my self on getting one. jeje

I have a Mad Catz PSP case that is pretty strong, also comes with a plastic shield for the screen and fits in with it open and closed. It can also stand for like "theater mode". Pretty damn sweet!

I don't have the madcatz but the one thing that is pretty cool is you can swap the UMD's while it is in the case.

I have the CAPDASE luxury hard case and I will look no further! I love it. Been using it for some time now and it is perfect.

Swapping of UMD is done while it is in the case. Aluminum top that moves around to also act as a stand, and also folds right back. The back of the case has a rubbery-feel for grip.

Everything fits perfect and leaves all needed areas free to get at.

As perfect as a case can get, in my opinion.

That was the other case that I was thinking about, Where did you get yours from? The only place I could find them was on yesasia or something.

I have the Logitech Playgear and I really like it. It protects it from shocks and spills. It fits it very well. It doesn't add a lot of bulk to it. My only issue is I have to take it out of the case to change the UMD.
