Boxwave Cleartouch Crystal Screen Protector
This screen protector from Boxwave is in my opinion the best one available right now. It is crystal clear as well. Take a look:

Those are like the plastic covers for cell phone displays and digital camera displays. If you are look for protection from scratching those do work well.

yeah I have seen them before, I would probably get one if I didn't already have two Pelican screen protectors that I got with some of the other accessories I bought

I like the Brando screen protectors myself and its a better deal. For $12 + $3 shipping you get two protectors one that covers the entire face of the unit and one that only covers a little more then the screen. Plus its always fun getting products from Hong Kong in the mail.

It just depends if you want the extra protection for your screen. Helps protect from scratching and stuff...

It isn't a necessity since it isn't a touch screen like a PDA or NDS but I still think its good to have so your screen doesn't get scratched up, which could happen whether you have it in a case or not, the case could even scratch. So to me it is necessary but might not be to you.

I have a Boxwave Screen Protector for my Dell Axim X3i and it was easily worth 12.95. They are reusable, so one screen protector will last for years.

I will be buying one for my PSP for sure.

^I got a boxwave anti-glare for x50 and its was definitely worth the $15 all together shipped, the price isn't what really matters to me. I will probably end up getting one when my Pelican ones are both used up and useless but until then I'm good with me

I have both the Boxwave Anti-Glare and the Crystal Clear for the PSP. Both are ill-fitted. Boxwave really screwed up.

Take a look at the Boxwave. Have you noticed that it extends slightly beyond the screen? Well, it covers the 2 speakers at the right and left of the PSP, so you wind up having muffled sound or having to trim the corners of the screen protector to avoid covering the speakers. For $15 (for ONE) you shouldn't have to trim it! You'd be better off with Brando or JavoEdge.

Also, the Boxwave looks really bad on, not the actual clarity, I mean the screen protector itself. The Boxwave is incredibly noticable because it extends past the screen and stops in an awkward place (just before the buttons) and just looks bad. I trimmed mine to precisely fit the screen and not cover the speakers so it's tolerable, but I shouldn't have had to for $15 a piece (and I have TWO)!! Waste of money but luckily I got my money back. I tried to give Boxwave another chance, but the disappointed me again... and for the last time.

I'm switching to JavoEdge (once I receive them). I would suggest you do the same.

Actually thats not the speakers that its covering. The speakers fire downward and port through the two holes on the bottom of the PSP.
