I love MVP Baseball; it's a great game but it is driving me crazy with the locking up. Every once in a while - not every time - when the computer makes a player substitution and you are supposed to hit X to OK the pop up info box, it locks up and the box will not close, making it impossible to continue. I've noticed that the crowd noise in the background doesn't change, and you can hit home to escape, so I don't think it's a problem with the system.

It just drives me nuts because I'll have a great game going and I have to back out and reload the game, losing everything!

Also every once in a while I've noticed that when you are on defense, the ball cursor disappears. Luckily you can save and exit and pick up where you left off, so it's not as bad as the substitution bug, but it's still incredibly annoying.

Anyone else having these problems?

yep I had that exact problem, I won three games in a row and was on my fourth in season mode almost to the end of the game and I had 3 HRs with my created guy and it froze at the top of the ninth and I forgot to save the game through all those games, I was so pissed I will never make the mistake of not saving after every game again but yeah its happen to me many times with that game.
