New Battery! X2 Must Read
Well we all know the PSP's biggest problem was it battery life. It was the only thing most nintendo fanyboys bashed on continueosly. On average the battery seems to last around 3-5 hours, with different sound, brightness, and Wifi settings when playing a game. Another problem arised from the low battery capacity that the current PSP has, its only 1800mAh. Which is why Sony thought it was best to clock the PSP CPU and GPU to 2/3 of it power. And also trying to keep UMD loading to a very minimum to try to preserve battery.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This in the end resulted in longer load times for us,more jaggies, less content in game to keep UMD loading to a minnimum, lagg delay when pressing pause in game, great graphics but not what the system can really do, even though it is 1st gen games. Now we all thought the technology wasnt here, and we had to wait atleast another year for a battey to come out that is twice the capacity of the current on 2x1800mAh=3600mAh. This would rid ourselves of all our problems. The CPU/GPU would be unlocked to the fullest, loading times would be cut down dramatically, games could stream data off the UMD, so games like GTA liberty cities wouldnt be restricted to load times, since the extra battery can fuel the UMD spinning so much.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a link to a THIRD PARTY battery that has twice the current capacity of our battery,Its 3600mAh.

Yes it still is coming soon, but Im guessing in a few months, cuz I doubt it would be on their site and still be a year off to ship. It looks like you take your battery out and the PSP battery cover and just snap it on, the battery itself looks like the outside covering, you can tell from the silver thing on the side. So to me it seems like the technology is here but Sony is either waiting to release an even higher capacity battery, or they want the developers to get exploit all the PSP hardware as of right now before giving them the extra power. So if you were to buy this battery it would give you anywhere from 6-10 hours of ACTUAL GAMING!

=================
BTW I dint write that Friend of mine did

Well i hope ya like

Hmm not sure about this, If it was reliable I might get it. But then developers still can't release stronger games since an official battery from Sony hasn't been released,(A stronger one).
