  • [Remote Play] has been added as a feature.
  • [Online Instruction Manuals] has been added as a feature.
  • [Set Timer] has been added as a feature under [RSS Channel].
• Music
  • [Visual Player] has been added as a feature.
  • Three-speed fast forward and fast reverse has been added as a feature under [Music].
• Photo
  • [Camera] has been added as a feature.
• Settings
  • [UMD™ Auto-Start] has been added as a feature under [System Settings].

  • New for 3.02: A security patch has been added to address security vulnerabilities in the system software.

Thanks for pointing out the firmware update.

I'm intrigued by the PS Network titles.. I never had a PSone, but there were a few games I've played on it. I wonder what all the network is like?

Do you own PS3, if not, you might as well forget it.
There is an open source firmware floating around, I am not sure if it will be long lived...

Bloody hell.. No PS3. Bastards.. Figures they'd tie it in like that somehow.. Money grubbing jerks..

Although, i did see they put in a feature that needed to be put in: the ability to disable UMD autoplay. Long overdue there.

I agree with UMD Autoplay. It was a hassle to exit the game, especially those with long "loading" screen in the beginning, whenever I wanted to play a video and had to exit.

Any of you guys had problems with the wifi on v3.03 ??? Mine worked fine 'out the box' connecting to my WPA-PSK (TKIP) encrypted AP, then I installed the 3.03 firmware and its now refusing to connect to any encrypted AP even WEP.

It connects fine to unencrypted APs after a factory reset but once disconnected it will not reastablish untill I do another factory reset????

My PSP is now a bundle of POOOO

Haven't had any problems with the wifi since the upgrade. And I upgraded via wifi. Worked like a charm.

1.5? You should upgrade to a custom firmware so you can enjoy the benefits of the new releases with the homebrew in 1.5.
