mental ambiguity

Got mine on Monday. So far, I love it, but out of the box it has issues. The notification issue was a big one, but at least it was fixed. My current gripe, and it's a big one (but not enough for me to return it yet) is the quiet ring for the first 3 or so seconds, then the tone gets louder.

Other than that, I'm loving it so far. It seems to be a slightly larger, but thinner, phone than the Treo 750. The 320x320 display is gorgeous. It definitely is much faster and more responsive than I expected. The touch screen could perhaps use a little more sensitivity. I totally dig the optical mouse bit. After having an HP iPAQ hx4705, I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I think there's enough of a difference between the square screen and the way it acts that it's very enjoyable.
