What's the Bump policy here?

New member here, I was wondering what the bump policy is here on new threads that don't get replies? It it allowed or not allowed? Or allowed a few times within reason. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's allowed. Not sure what the official policy is, but the basic rules of "don't be obnoxious" and "give people a decent chance to repsond" apply.

Noisy Crow is correct. Use good judgement when bumping it. If it is too much a Mod will let you know anyway.

In my mind, a bump every once in awhile is much better than cross posting all over the boards. ;)

I'm not even sure a bump would be neccesary here. responses are quick and plentiful. from my experiences here I think i've only seen a bump 1-2 times, with the exception of mrk's(i think it was him) "Please dont bump this thread" thread.

Note that Frenchy has put up over 1.7% of the total posts on AximSite! In just over a year! So, yep, we're fairly relaxed about keeping threads alive around here! :approve:

I think I've gotten every question I had answered rather quickly. Sometimes when I see a post that hasn't been answered I post something to keep it going. Keepin' it real in Compton.

A bump is posting in a thread just so that it shows up back at the top of the list within that section of the forums.

My post in this thread will make it bold like a new post.

The members on this site are far more helpful than any other site I have found. Everyone is welcome as long as they treat the other members with respect.

It tends to be the law of diminishing returns... A lot of quick or obvious bumping makes you less likely to get a reply. Sometimes its's helpful to give more information instead of just blindly bumping.

(and the search button is your friend :) but you knew that anyway :approve:
