How to disable "Message Bubble" Pop-up

I find it very annoying and irritating when you position your mouse overtop of a thread, a bubble pops up containing the first few lines of text from that thread.

How do you disable this function?? I've looked everywhere in my options/profile, but can't find anywhere to disable this.

I can't stand it!!! Any help appreciated.

AFAIK it can't be disabled on a user by user basis.

I love it, it bugs me when I go to other forums and they DON'T have that feature :)
