Old threads can't be searched?

Hello,

When doing a search, I have noticed that the older threads are not coming up as results. Even when I tried searching for some of my old threads, the search engine just lists the newer posts.

Is there some sort of a time limit where older threads just expire? Can this feature be changed so that all relevant threads are displayed?

I and other mods have just recently notice this same problem, and have brought it to Chris' (AximSiteAdmin) attention. I'm sure that he'll be looking into this problem very soon....that is, if he hasn't already.

Thanks! It was rather frustrating to do a search on something you KNEW was there, but was not!

A temporary solution that i've found is to Click on the "Search" button up top (not the quick search). It allows you to "search by user". Not the best method, but it allows you to at least narrow it down to the ones you've participated in....or someone else has participated in (if you remember someone in the thread).

BTW, what do laptops have anything to do with this?

Nothing to do with the problem.... hehe... just had to retype that message several times because of my fat fingers.... hehe
