Official Chris broke the site thread --- Part II

I am starting to feel better from my Flu-like symtoms and I am about ready to jump back in full force.... I closed the other thread to get a fresh list of "what's broke". Now that the dust has settled and I think we have the servers working more effeciently, where do we stand.

Thanks!

There does not seem to be a way to send a PM on mobile. Previously, you could search for a member name's profile, then send a PM using a link in the profile. The link is now gone, and the only way I am able to send PM is by replying to an old PM, but changing the recipient's name to the one I want.

I'm still struggling with the issue with seeing attachments using FireFox (Part #1, Post #132) and Zone Alarm Security Suite. I'm leaning towards the issue being with a ZoneAlarm setting.

Yes, I'm running the AdBlock extension in FireFox, but it does not seem to matter, since it happens even when deactivated and even when deinstalled.

I'm puzzled and frustrated and could use some ideas.

Here is the scenario: I am not logged into Aximsite, I go to a post that has attachments. I can see the icons that represent the attachments. I click on one. I'm asked to sign in, so I log in. Voila! The attachment is displayed. I go back to the post that has the attachments and reload the current page. Now I cannot see icons. I go to Tools/Clear Private Data and then again reload the current page and then I can see the icons again.

Anyone else, or is it all about me?

Is "Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)" checked in your user options?

I finally found it. It is buried in ZoneAlarm, under Privacy/Site List. There is an entry created for every web site. Right clicking on a specific site bring up Options, which, when clicked upon, brings up Cookies, Ad Blocking, and Mobile Code. Selecting Ad Blocking provides three options for that function.

Still weird, as the ZoneAlarm configuration did not change and the AximSite did, but glad I have it figured out and resolved anyway!
