Aximsite does have a separate forum for the x51v - look under Forums > X50 Forums.

If its a wm5 issue why not use the wm5 forum.
a lot of software issues actually apply to 50/51 users

I think I understand what he is saying, if you do a search for something (which we are all strongly encouraged to do), it pulls results from the whole site, not just one subforum. It can be daunting trying to skim through possibly hundreds of pages only to find that what you are looking for is not covered in the search results, just similar keywords.
I think instead of a separate forum as was suggested, it might be nice to add more options to the search engine so you could narrow down your results a lot easier.
Am I making sense? If not just tell me to go play with my Axim. ;-)

I agree with John the search function could be improved - we need a more refined and definable function. Like many people I have searched and not found what I needed and asked a question only to find the answer was already there when i have been kindly given a link to an existing thread.

Too bad this site isn't like mobilegadgetnews.com
There, you can find seperate forums for specific devices. Once you find your device, you will find all the solutions, update notices, and tricks specifically for your device; such as Moto MPx220, Cingular 8125, and etc.
Unfortunately, they mainly specialize in smartphones and only PPC w/ phone feature. That's it.

I don't really mind them being together actually. I learn a lot from the X50 forums anyway since a lot of the "higher ranked" members use the X50.

Actually, if you click on Advanced Search in the search box, it will allow you to narrow down your search results. You can even specify which forums to limit your searches to.

well, i too find that it is weird .. i use an x50 low, and think that the x50/x51v devices should have their own, because they are almost totally diffrent on the inside.... that way the x50/x51 low/mid can have targeted discussions. i always see good posts, but when i get to them they are only for the x50v

Maybe someone should start a poll and see if what other Aximsite users think and if enough people think so then someone should get the moderators to seperate the forums.

There is a forum for x50/x51, then subforums divide them into their own categories. However, the argument here is to create actual forums for the separate devices and I agree.
