While we're waiting for the mobile version, what about setting up RSS feeds for the News section(s)? I always sync PocketFeed before I travel, to get all the latest feeds for my subscriptions (not to mention running an aggregator on the desktop, which is a great way to immediately know when something is updated)

Hmm... I did notice that while it displays fine on my desktop aggregator (I use SharpReader) it will not parse at all with Pocket Feeds. I'm guessing because it seems to be an XML version of the full site rather than your 'typical' RSS feed???
I will look into this, What program are you using?

SharpReader seems to use a lot of IE dependencies, which I would assume is why it doesn't argue at all about displaying full website content inside the feed, but Pocket Feed's XML parser is pretty finicky.
I may be off-base but I think Pocket Feed might be having difficulty with some of the tags, but I don't really know the whole RDF/RSS syntax, it's all automated on my site for RSS 2.0.
Looking at the produced XML source though, it looks like the feed simply links to the news thread on the main site, which is why it works fine in SharpReader and AmphetaDesk, both of which are IE based (AmphetaDesk simply uses IE itself to display everything in fact). I also tried looking at it in Feedreader, another dedicated RSS client, and it does parse ok, but there is nothing in the text area other than a link to click, which opens the browser to the main site's news thread.
---------------------------
After a bit of looking around, I'm definately convinced that this is the case. Could the syndication template be modified to only parse the newsbits that display on the front page rather than the entire thread + comments?

It shouldn't make a difference but i am using PocketFeed as well and http://www.ipaqhq.com/forums/external.php? works fine for me and I update everyday. I am using the PocketFeed v0.6 alpha version and it works fine for me. The RSS URL for this site is not working for me.
The RSS PHP code had to be modified to do two things. The program first had to be modified to make the RSS2 type the default. The default was RSS I believe. RSS and RSS2 is based on XML but there are some subtle differences. If the code is the same it allows for XML, RSS and RSS2 and RSS2 seems to work for PocketFeed but not RSS. So try this URL to see if it works, http://www.aximsite.com/syndicated.php?type=rss2.
The code also had to be modified to strip the fpic BB code from Front Page news. fpic is used to show the images you see. PocketFeed does not parse it and the code will show up in the text.
