Do you happen to be running any type of privacy software that deleted cookies and temporary internet files when you exit IE or just periodically? Just curious, taking shots in the dark now.

Where the Accpet all cookie slider is, press the advanced button. On my system I have the override automatic cookie handling unchecked.

It does sound like a cookie problem. Is the cookie being retained by the browser? Maybe McAfee is deleting them - there is an intellitxt cookie as well, for the ads, which may be affecting things.

Can you close the browser, reopen it, and see if the cookies are still on there?

I searched my cookies folder for *axim* and found the following:
beach1ady@aximsite[2].txt
Then I searched for *intel* and found nothing.

So, I'm missing the intellitxt one but I have no idea how to get it. Any suggestions?

OK. I finally figured it out. I added www.aximsite to the allow list and Cookie list in McAfee Privacy Service. Now, I can move around on the site without having to log in for each action. Yippee!

Thank you to Everyone who provided input. I appreciate it and will be able to "play" on the site much easier now.

You are not the only one having this problem. I use firefox and I just reinstalled Windows after wiping out my hard drive. I at this time have no virus or spyware progams installed and I have to log in everytime I come here and it has been happening for a week more or less. I do not think the problem is on your end. Just my 2 cents.

I am glad that you solved the problem, I know you will have more joy in reading and posting now that you don't have to re-enter each time.

Anyone looked at the login server cluster configuration as it interoperates across the aximsite.com, leckmedia.com, and mcgee.simplecom.net domains?

When I am signed in and working fine, I can click on the Home link and it will show me as not signed in.

I can also not Search, nor click on saved thread URLs.

Strange; as for it being the site that is the cause, the evidence is rather underwhelming. The two of you seem to be the only people experiencing difficulties out of 140,000+ members, and 1000+ logged on at any one time.

The OP seems to have figured it out, by allowing Aximsite's cookies and making sure her firewall, etc, is configured for it. Have you done the same?

Shot in the dark here, but lets try something. This may be the problem this may not. Go to www.java.com and install the latest version of java. It will also check to see if you don't already have the latest version first.

I'm looking at anything now.

Interesting thought. I do have the latest JAVA installed; however, I had not previously tried going into the JAVA control panel and explicitly clearing the deployment cache (%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\) of applets. I have now done that and will see if it changes things.

I do see a number of errors on the JAVA Script console associated with Aximsite.com as well, but they appear to be errors relating to fonts and colors due to a typo on an earlier definition.
