Can anyone help me stay logged into the site?
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure I got this in the right forum but if anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I think I saw a post on this issue once but despite searching, I can't find it.
Can anyone tell me how to stay logged into Aximsite? Everytime I access the home site I have to log in. Once that is done, I have to log in before I can get to the forums and I have to log in to access my PMs etc. It's driving me nuts.
Thanks in advance for helping out.
Gina

If you are pulling Aximsite from favorites...that might be the problem.
I would delete it and add favorites again after logging in...

Thanks Chris.
Sadly remember me is checked everywhere and doesn't help a bit.

I deleted it from favorites, logged in, saved and tried again. Still no luck.
I have to re-sign in when just navigating within the site after my original sign in. For instance, I just had to re-sign in to post this. UGH!

I have tried with and without firewall. With IE6, IE7, and FireFox. Cookies, scripts, and such enabled. Same issue regardless. Also, the only site that I have this issue with. I have noticed that the main page login ( http://www.aximsite.com) seems to be a different login than the forums page login ( http://www.aximsite.com/boards) as a login on one is not always known to the other.

Primarily I use IE but really use Firefox interchangably. This situation is the same on both.
Just thought of something else. Comcast is my internet provider and I use their complimentary suite of McAfee security programs. Could something be hosed in one of them that is making this happen?
thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm sure something will work soon. :)

Thanks for the welcome. I automatically checked the remember me box as it works for other forums I use and it doesn't help here.

Check the level for your cookies. If the level is to high it might not be able to save the cookie. Drop the level a bit and see what happens.
The level slide can be found under Internet options, the privacy.

Try turning off all your firewalls and McAfee security and see if that solves the problem.
