mouse courser pop=ups

I still find the "feature" of mouse courser pop=ups very annoying. has there been an inprovment to where I can somehow disable them? I I am not talking about the smart text ads this is the forum post summery crap.

I think he's talking about the popup ads on mouseover, here on Aximsite. They are irritating.

to disable them:

"forum post summery crap." meaning the Go Advanced view, where a tiny help text opens up when you hover on a button?
Disable JavaScript for that:
In Firefox, it's Tools, Options, Content icon (tab), then uncheck the Enable Javascript control.

In any event, where a little popup is not alt-text, it's likely JavaScript.

Just use firefox. It gives you almost complete control over browser behaviour. Whatever it doesn't give you control over, the Greasemonkey script does.

Hey, DotanCohen, have you tried out the Greasemonkey script I whipped up? Lists up to 200 posts per page (like if you search or show today's posts or such)?

Thanks, Pocket. I actually don't use greasemonkey as I try to learn all the annoying things about websites so that I don't do them on my own sites. But thanks for the heads up- I may use it some day.
