Yes, you cannot manually change your username. If you have a good reason to need a change of username, then you can try contacting AximSiteAdmin (aka Chris)......the call will be his on whether or not to change your username. However, I recommend everyone to keep the same username they sign up with. Users already know you by this name, and if you change your username many members probably won't know who you are anymore. Because of this, it could be very troublesome......especially if you have been involved with any sales/trades in the Classifieds forum.

Should I just register again and start a new process under a new username? I haven't been involved in any sales or trades. As I am new to the whole forum I used the first part of my e-mail address.

No. The best thing to do if you want a new name is to go here :

and select forum trouble and make the request....
