Is there a way to hide threads from view?

I generally go to New Posts a few times a day. Is there a way to automatically hide specific forums or threads? I dont' really care much about most of the "hall of fame" threads and they show up a lot. I'd like to hide these if possible. TIA.

Yes, I too wouldn't mind seeing a 'Today's Technical Posts' or something along those lines. While I do visit the Water Fountain from time to time and often get a good chuckle along the way it would be nice feature to be able to filter it out.

The best workaround I can think of for this is to subscribe to the threads or forums you are most interested in, and rather than selecting the link for new posts go to quick links and select User CP and it will take you to your subscribed threads
