I just thought of how many other "kinda" illegal things that the most allow/participate on this site.
1. Emulators- How many reviews have there been over the years on game emulators. Aren't those roms illegal, if your going to be the type who "follows all the rules"? Maybe u should close all those threads and reviews of how to emulate roms on ur axim.
2. Pocket P2P- That old limewire clone for pocket pc, was allowed to be discussed here. I use p2p myself, but it is similar to pirated software, and we all know the only legal alternative to p2p is itunes like software. But people are even extending the trail of this software by deleting reg keys. Thats illgeal too, probably, im sure. On the internet, its all illegal.
Aximsite staff/person admits to p2p of illegal content. Might as well have been a wm6 rom.
C'mon, were all human. And im sure some of those "hacks" that have been featured on here over the years were sorta against the rules in some way. The point is, this site would have never done so well over the years, if it hadn't been for bending the rules and creating hacks for the axim. Isnt that what this forum is all about.
And if every post is just going to be closed, and this keeps going on, let me know when this domain becomes avaliable, b/c im sure this site has little life left to it, if this keeps happening.
Maybe somebody else can take the site and learn how to run it without conflict a few yrs from now. I always like the admin and chris, but i give the aximsite no more than 2yrs.

If you're looking to blame someone for the current state of affairs: look at the people who say EXACTLY what you said above. Group A gets chastized for breaking the rules, then turns around and says "here are some other illegal things going on with Group B". So then the staff, in order to be fair, have to now address the complaint lodged by Group A against Group B. Group B then complains about Group C. It's a vicious cycle.
Break THAT cycle if you want the problems to go away...

It's impossible to run a site that EVERYONE loves. There will always be someone who is upset about a rule or two. Out of the whole "Who thinks we should be allowed..." topic, only something like 140+ people voted to allow a certain topic. Out of 19 THOUSAND members...
No, I think the spirit and enthusiasm which was Aximsite will continue to live-on with MobilitySite for a long time to come. Aximsite, as a name, will eventually give way to the broader MobilitySite...
Acctually emulators are nbot illegal, only the ROMS are illegal, and really it's a gray area because (1) US Copyright law allows you to keep backups of games you own, and (2) many companies have said "go ahead and psot them, we dont care!" NOA acctually allowed on site I used to frewquent to post all the roms they wanted, but to remove 3 that were still popular, this promotes the Nintendo name, and people will hopefully buy mroe Nintendo games on current, vialbe, systems.
P2P can be used legally, P2P is a networking protocal that, in fact most small networks without a router use. Limewire also can be used legally if you download content you own the rights to (such as a "backup" of a book you own a printed copy of)
You're trying to say guns, cars, and wrenches are illegal because people commit murder. no, guns, cars, and wrenches are legal, it's the murder, which can be commited with any weapon, that's illegal.

Actually, to extend your analogy to the point where it coincides with the topic of this thread, it is illegal to post guns for sale or trade, or even to be given away, just as it is for ROM images without the proper licenses.

IF you mean aximsite's rules say so, then ok, otherwise, though, it depends on the state. (I meant that as a universal comment, because the WM6 rom is illegal in the eyes of the law everywhere, whereas emulators, P2P SOFTWARE, and guns, cars, and wrenches, are legal in the eyes of the law everywhere (guns being the exception, there are a tiny number of places guns are illegal))
And my point is that quite often the ENGINE for whatever activity/program is legal, it's how you use it. I could post links to every single SNES/GEnesis/etc emulateor ont he net and there's no question of legality as long as no ROMS were linked.

You know, brainless posts like this are why I left AximSite in the first place, and only started logging in again about a week ago. This is the ONE forum that I've been to where trolling and posts which reach the childish level of a two year old denied a treat aren't immediately dealt with. Be thankful they're as tolerant of you and Eric12341 as they have been; in a forum for people with an ounce of sense and a low tolerance for flamebaiting, the accounts in question would have been banned long before.

I think this post is, more or less, a contradiction in terms. You bemoan the childish posts, the trolling, the flamebaiting, and so on, and then proceed to insult and flame both members and staff.
That said, I do genuinely appreciate your underlying concerns. Allow me to respond.
We are a liberal forum, and always have been. People are allowed to speak their mind. Of course, anything that crosses the line, or infringes our rules, can and will be dealt with, but we rarely close or delete a thread simply because people express dissatisfaction with our decisions or policies. We're not big believers in web dictatorship. Maybe I am misreading things, but I think that this ethos is a big part of why Aximsite/MobilitySite has been so popular over the years.

doesn't seem liberal at times since we can't share our experiences with wm6 which clearly denies our liberal right to free speech
