Question "A runtime error has occurred"

For the past few days or so, anytime I go to anything at Aximsite I get several "A runtime error has occurred, would you like to debug" messages. Has there been a recent change that could have caused this, or is the problem on my end (on all three computers I've tried...)

Weird....

I'm on here about 15+ times a day, from 3 - 5 different locations, and have had no problems at all. You say it's on all 3 computers....

Are all 3 of these computers on the same network? If so, do any of them have an up-to-date anti-virus scanner? Many of the new worms spreading around the net will populate to each of the machines on the local network, and could be messing around with your settings. Probably not the case, but it's always possible.

Let us know if you have any luck figuring it out.

A runtime error, in simple terms, is an error that occurs when a program (or command) is executed. In this case, the command would be when you tell your browser to Go to http://www.aximsite.com. And for some reason an error is occurring as soon as this command is executed.

Generally, the cause of a runtime error is that the program was not designed to properly support the exact scenario that you are trying to perform.

thanks, Jordan....I've seen this only a couple of times recently (at a real estate site--not here) and wasn't sure what it meant.

What happened is that my ad-blocking software was causing problems. I removed the entry that blocks "/ads/", and everything works fine now. :P

ahh... Spam and Ads make it tough to get the legitimate word out these days. My uses are good, but too many bad apples. GRRR
