When I bought my Axim 10 months ago, little did I think that it would lead me into a serious psychological problem.
Yes - I have to admit it. I am totally addicted to Aximsite.
I log on to it at least once a day and usually two or three times - sometimes more. I am obviously in need of counselling.
If I don't get my daily Aximsite fix, I suffer serious withdrawal symptoms - wondering about all the interesting new posts which I have missed or interesting notices on the front page.
I post on subjects which interest me or, which I think might be of interest or help to others. So far I have made 160 posts in 10 months. But this is nothing compared to :-
cageyjames - 4,327 posts - Good Grief ! - not all that cagey ! deftech - 3,859 posts - expert on pretty well everything. raynne - 3,628 posts Howard2K - 3,123 posts ikehiker - 2,435 posts - also universal expert. cheryl - 2,190 posts - expert on games.
I am sure that there are other similarly hooked junkies who I have missed out.
Clearly these guys are desperately in need of help. Aximsite has completely taken over their lives.
I seriously suggest that a suitably qualified therapist sets up Aximsite Anonymous (another website of course) for people like us.
Not me - I would be one of the patients !! :crooked:

I'm one too. I've set the mobile site/forum pages as my default home page for my X3i. I do love to do that surfing while lying in bed at night. Thank goodness the Axim weighs so little. My old X5 with CF wifi card got heavy after a while.
I have the solution to all your problems... Including my own.(yes, I too am addicted to Aximsite). Click a Google Adword Link... Go to another site and relax. Count to 10 and come back. If you still feeel addicted, don't worry, that is normal...hehe
Seriously though, if you do click an adword link, make sure you check the site out. They will appreciate it.
My wife complains and complains and complains some more about this. When she is not in a bad mood, she consoles me by saying, "Some men play Golf, some fish, but this is your hobby... have fun."

I know what y'all mean...I sure spend my fair share of time here too. What's really sad is that I can spend a couple of hours in here a day (off & on) chatting with you people from all over place and I wouldn't even know my own next door neighbor if I was standing in line next to him at the store :) (acutally, that's rather sad). But, Aximsite rules!!

I'm pretty close but I used mine alot today. But yes, I tried to stay away from this site to see how long it would last 2 days is my best time. I can't help it..

just thought it should be pointed out that mostof these folks work for the site (except howard2k???).....(conversely, they might also work for the site because they are addicts....)
