I took a few moments to animate the logo for aximsite =)

I optimized it also, it's almost the same size. (only 5k more with animation)

If you need any other modifications, I can easily rework it.

I'm a professional level visual effects guy, so this is fun stuff for me =)

I added a few more blinks..
I made it subtle.. the idea is that it shouldn't distract.

so after it loads.. i don't have it blink immideately... it waits 5 seconds then blinks.. If you happen to catch it it will be at the corner of your eye.. when it stops.. you might not even have noticed it. =)

subtle... is the name of the game for good gif animation in my opinion.

Looks good, but the orange frames look a little choppy at the bottom of the circle ... on closer inspection it looks like it bleeds around the outer edge of the green area. I'm sure this was a first draft (use the "tragic" wand? :p ) and a tighter bezier curve selection would take care of the raggedness.

Looks good! Just the other night I was staring at the logo and the button, and I was thinking it'd be cool if it flashed like the real thing -- and here you are doing the mind reading!

Since i'm not the originator of the artwork, i dont' have the clean mask.

yes it's the wand =) with select similar afterward for good measure. (photoshop talk)

I was running out the door, and had the idea.. took no more than 5 minutes.
If the webmaster approves it, i'll create a version with a clean mask.

ok call me dumb...but the pic of the logo that peterpro has on his last post up here...is it spose to be animated?? cuz i dont see it doing anything...is it on my end or what?
i had also thought it would be cool to see the power button flash or look like it was being pressed on,then maybe when the button is pressed...have the background or a sublte outline around the word "axim site" glow or lite up...like peter says...in a subtle way,not real flashy or distracting.
can u do somethin like that peter....duh,ive SEEN the stuff u can do...but still dont see the animation on the post above.

sorry for the confusion.
the first logo on the top of this list has had it's repeat setting set to
ONCE -
what that means in gif talk is that it will animate.. and then stop, playing only once.

the second logo directly under is a fix, the repeat setting is now set to
Forever -
It will play in an endless loop as long as your broweser window is up.

the reason for the two is that it's easy to forget to set that.

also.. be patient.. there is a 5 second delay on the logo,
in gif talk that means the first frame is held for 5 seconds before proceeding with the animation.

The reason - subtle. your looking at other stuff. when it blinks.. your eye gets drawn back to it.. it stops.. your eye goes away..
it blinks some more.. =)
