Page refresh takes a long time, kind of

Not sure whether to put this in Site Suggestions or here, so I'll just put it here. If I switch to another application and then bring IE to the foreground, it takes somewhere between 1-2 seconds for the page to actually appear. This only happens in the forums though, not on any of the other pages.

It's not a big deal, and heck, maybe I'm the only one experiencing it, but I thought I'd let you know. It's a little on the annoying side...not much, just a little, so if you don't know what's going on then I wouldn't worry about it.

The forums use a ton of <TABLE> HTML tags, and it can take even some faster computers a bit of time to (re-)render them. That may be what's causing your delay.

Could be I guess, but I'm running a P4 2Ghz with 512MB ram and a 64MB GeForce2. I can't think of any other sites that do this. Even VBulletin's site refreshes normally.

I've been doing some testing and I think it has something to do with the upper part of the screen. If I cover only the bottom half with MSPaint (or whatever program) the page refreshes as I would expect, but if I cover the top part that's when I get the delay. It seems to start at about the "Quick Search".
