Post Upgrade : Troubles and Complaints

Troubles will be dealt with as time allows. Complaints will be filed in the round filing cabinet. hehe... seriously, you all know I try to do best for the site. Let me know what is wrong. Some things are already known, but let me know anyway. I do know that the FAQ, TUTORIAL, and REVIEW sections need to be updated.

I am working and have hours ahead of me to finalize this upgrade, so please do not take offense if I do not respond right away.

Did you know I was on with the PM, or just a stab in the dark?

Can't reply from the PM. Get unspecified Thread error when clicking on Reply.

.....So far I like it, it'll take some getting used to.....but I managed with the last change!!!!!

2 Quickies:

1) Image Tag ON in all the usual Forums?

2) Would still like to see Original Post Date & Time under Thread/ Thread Starter.

PS. Yellow users are unverified. They never completed the process of validating their email. Contact Us if you can not find the original email that has the validation link.

In reference to above post I wanted to edit:

My current sig is 1,989 characters + spaces long, it's running fine except for my marquee is now not as the HTML says it should be and I cannot edit it without getting the above error.

I have a few complaints.... hehe
at least read them before you wad them up and
file them in that round filing cabinet..

1: I know 'opera' is a minority here, but I use it 100% of the time, I do not allow IE on my laptop, and definately not at work. My complaint is AD's are drawn ontop of drop down menus,.. This is not a problem now because no ad's get in the way.. but they do get in the way on ipaqhq, and I have a feeling they might get that way here too... I do NOT mind the ad's! they support the site, Im just wondering if there is a way to have drop down menus drawn ontop of the 'ad's.

2: The 'recent' posts on the left column,
I spose I can get used to this, but I liked them
better on the middle column

Seriously - I think the auto-quote could see a lot more "quote" and a lot less post.

Mobile version - Needs optimization?

BTW - I LIKE the format.. So I'm trying to be picky to improve things, not to be a PITA

Awesome job so far.

The Forums link on the mobile site doesn't work and is misaligned.

Some of the forum titles look out of whack too.... Maybe the mobile site still needs more work

Oh - I posted some .gif attachements to the previous post (two of them) and they're not here. So maybe that's another issue.

the only problem I seem to be having is with posting....when I click 'post quick reply', the hourglass comes up....hangs....then stops. If I hit the back arrow then click the forward arrow, the post shows up. I can see where some people may be tempted to keep hitting the 'post quick reply' and maybe their post might end up showing multiple times (?). Aside from this minor annoyance, the site looks great!! You did a tremendous job (as always).
