I suggest REMOVING the

Button from the Quick Reply Box at the bottom of each Thread,

(seems a bit of a non-sequitur, I know, but).....

it will give people the chance to Proofread their Replies by automatically going to the

Page.

If they then choose to NOT PROOFREAD their Posts, then who's to blame but themselves for any misunderstandings as regards their Post?

I understand that there are those who are confident enough
in their Posting abilities that they do not need this,
.....but those folk are, in actuality, few & far between.

....see?!?...Even I had to EDIT to get the correct syntax/spelling/"eye candy-ish-ness"..... :headscrat

Me too.......but I know enough Code (or have standard needs stored) to not need the Advanced Page too often.

I don't really think that taking away the quick-reply feature will help much; those members that do not proofread their posts are no more likely to in the advanced reply feature. As long as their post is intelligible and understandable, I'm never too worried about spelling/grammar; this is not an English lang/lit forum!
