1. When I view new posts, I sometime go through many screens of new posts. If when I'm viewing and somebody enters a "newer" posts and I go from page to page, would it show up in my new posts ? Or would it show up when I "exit" the forum and do a new posts again ?

2. If I finish viewing the new posts and I mark them read, but there are some newer posts, would they be marked read also, meaining that I would missed them thinking I've read them ?

If you actually click on New Posts after viewing a thread, then the list will be updated each time. If you only hit the back button, you may miss them because you may be looking at cached pages. Sometimes what is annoying is when I take a bit of a break while viewing the threads, but when I go back to New Posts, it only lists the new ones created during my break. Then I find helpful to click on Today's Posts to see a full list; however, the older ones will still show up as "read" even when not.
