I have an Axim x51v - What happened??

What happened to the "I have an Axim x51v" thread?? Did someone delete it cause of the "pre-released" photos? I'm glad I got to see it though...

Very hush hush I guess... :hide:

Lots of stuff gets deleted here and nobody is ever told.
Watch out though - they'll 'disappear' you if you complain ;)

Guys,

I'm not sure why it was pulled. We can rampantly speculate or we can wait patiently and I'm sure there will be a good reason. :)

It was deleted due to NDA at Dell's request. Dell is relaxed with rumors etc, but this was something they requested I remove.

I still have the picture links in my history, but there's 3 or 4 pictures that are no longer on the host site. Does anyone know how to view the cache that's stored from Firefox? Maybe I still have his pictures in cache? Firefox doesn't seem to cache data like IE.

Ah, I see. Fair enough.

I'd still like to look at the pics again... It's like seeing x50v's unborn brother...

I removed all the pictures. I will not be posting anymore information about the device or linking the pictures. Sorry guys.. Although my imediate boss, and none of the rest of us signed a NDA, that doesnt mean one wasnt in effect I guess.. Possibly signed by some higherups or something..

Awe, that's a shame.

I really don't see what the big deal is. I mean, it's not like revealing the concluding episode of Star Wars or anything.

I could see if it was to keep some awesome design from being seen by competitors, but it's the same PDA!! I guess it shouldn't be a big deal to me since it's the same exact case. 128MB more ROM and WM2005.

At least we can stop speculating until x70v comes out!!

Hey i heard a rumor the x51v looks Just like the x50v. No scroll wheel or anything. Also I speculate windows mobile 05 has some kind of GPS utility for pairing apps with GPS hardware. And i guess the extended batteries fit. Just a guess though. ;-)
