Opinions on Corsair OEM vs Retail SD......

I did a bit of research here and found out that OEM SD cards do not have the memory controller activated and will not work with PPC's. I was wondering if this card would be the exception to the rule http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233021

The features text underneath says that it works with handhelds

I only want this card for the increase in speed it might provide versus the Corsair retail card 40x vs 133x. The OEM card also costs way less but still has a claimed speed advantage.

I'm also partial to Corsair memory products

I have this card and it works fine in my X51v

I'm thinking of that card too for whatever I end up getting (Palm TX or Axim x51v). Looks like a pretty good deal, and Corsair has a good reputation (although I've never heard of them for Flash memory...)
