Hitachi 4GB MicroDrive Not Working
Hi,

I am new to the world of Axim and Pocket PC.

I have Hitachi 4GB microdrive and I cannnot get it to work in my x50.

Every time I put it in it asks to find the Driver.

Things I have don:

1) Soft Reboot and reinsert
2) Hard Reboot and reinsert
3) Reformat the Card - FAT32 using Format disc in Windows XP
4) Reformat the Card - FAT32 Using Computer Managment Windows XP
5) Reformat the Card - FAT32 in Mac OS X 10.4.2

I have small 64MB SandDisc that works fine, so I now the slot is good.
It works in Windows and Mac OS X so I know the Drive is good.

Any suggestions?

Where did you purchase your microdrive? You have to be careful because it is a known issue that some don't work in PDAs/cameras. See the quote (taken from another thread) below for the explanation:

I was considering getting a microdrive because of the lower cost/GB, but when seeing that some don't work and that they use lots more power than solid state devices, I decided to get a CF card instead. All of them work, too.
