CF and SD card in 51v at the same time
Hi there,

Had a question about using both at the same time. I initially had a 1 gb cf flash card in the Axim. Then I put in a 128 mb SD card. After putting it in, I couldn't get the Axim to recognize the CF card. It only recognized the SD card. Any one know what's going on here?

Try soft reseting the device, the x51v has a bug about occassionally loosing cards. No one has tracted down the reason for this, but hopefully there will be a rom update that will fix this problem soon.

One thing that seems to help some is to make sure the unit is ON any time you put in or take out a card. Good Luck~

Don't like inserting cards, powered on.

Put SD cards and CF cards in the Axim, without, nada, zip, no problems. Always when powered down (power off).

I run programs, music, video, anytime from either CF or SD and never with any noticable speed differences.

Use ScanDisk and although I've read reported problems, haven't noticed or seen any myself.
