I have a 50X A-Data 1GB SD card and it performs great in my X50v. It also benchmarks better than a 150X card for some reason

I really find that difference (60x v 150x) hard to believe. What benchmark program did you use? I'd like to rule out whether it was a problem with the software.

Thanks.

You can go here to see the details:

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=99097

There must be one of two explanations:

(1) Pocket Mechanic does not accurately capture the performance of storage cards.

(2) There must be some mismatch between PDA I/O and flash memory I/O, such as packet size, timing, etc.

I hope someday somebody figures it all out... I am totally surprised when I see results that defy logic.

I bought a 2gb 150x ADATA SD card from Newegg for $124 and although I've only had it a day, so far it has worked perfectly.

The label is bright pink, if that kind of thing matters to you.
