I don;t really care bout the manufacturer as long as it works and its not real slow. I have a generic SD 1 GB card now and the speed is perfect. I don't care about these expensive 100X CF cards in which the speed can't be utilized in a X50v

Two things you might want to keep in mind.
1. If you buy a good quality card, there may be less chances of problems or compatibility issues.
2. The speed of the card comes in handy when your are transfering information to and from the card. If your plan is to place the files on the card and keep them there, sure save the money. But if you are going to be moving a lot of data on and off the card, a faster card might better.
