Help!!! How do you COMPLETELY wipe all files from a disk/storage card

How do you completely wipe everything from SD card?

Format the drives, like you would an old floppy drive. Preferable method is in a card reader.

Sorry, but how do you format a card exactly? What exactly does formatting a card do?

formatting the card removes all data which should lead to full capacity and zero files, including hidden.

With it in a card reader, right click from My Computer on the card drive. There will be a format option, choose it, but remember bye bye files.

It sounds to me like you are trying to hide or get rid of something sensative. If that is the case I would format the card, then I would file enough files to completly fill up the card and then reformat again. This will write over the original data that was there making it completely gone.
