Magicstor 2.2 gb microdrive not working with Axim X51v
Dear friends,

I have two 2.2 gb microdrives from magicstor, they used to work very well in my Axim X50v, but they are not recognized on my new X51v. Also, i got the upgrade Cd for my X50v, and now, my x50v does not recognize either.

Am I missing anything?

Please Help!!!

I just bought two of these, one works on my x51v and the other does not. Careful examination reveals only 1 difference between the 2, that being the model number on the tag.

Card 1 - GS1022C 64 (does not work in x51v)
Card 2 - GS1022C 65 (works fine)

I'm thinking different firmware, and Microsoft dont have both firmwares in the mobile 5 drivers list....

I take it this 'drivers list' isn't exactly hackable?

Also - why would they take something OUT from the 2003SE list?

Would you recommend buying this product to someone like me who just got the x51v? If not what do you think is the best product out there for memory storage?

Probably not - I've heard that lots of people have issues with the Magistore cards. If you're looking for a microdrive, I might try a Hitachi.

No...

They chew battery power. Get a regular flash card, they only about 50% more expensive.
