How to delete files from sd card?

Hey guys i'm having a problem trying to delete things from my SD card. Whenever I delete something, i refresh pocket explorer and then it just reappears. I then try to delete it using file explorer and it says it cannot delete because access is denied and to make sure the disk is not full or write protected and the file is not currently in use.

I'm not using the file and its not locked. any help?

Try doing a soft reset first, then try deleting it from file explorer, or if you have an sd card reader, that would be the fastest way.
