SD card problem

Hi ppl.
My problem is that I cannot sometimes find my sd card in the menu.
Recently I did upgrade rom my x50v to A03 I didn't have the problem before.
My sd cards are 512 mb pretec and 256 mb sundisc.
I would like to say that I don't have this problem with cf card.

A03 works well on my x50v, so the questions arises: which "menu" are you refering to?

if a file explorer doesn't see the card either you should try a soft reset;

Sorry, can't help you with WMP because I do not use it. If I could uninstall that thing I would. (I use Pocket Music - and never had any problems like yours nor any others.)

My new x50v won't recognize a 1 gig sandisc SD card that had data on it, and I did the soft reset, and it still shows "not in use" under file explorer storage card. (I reformated the card and tried again...still nothing)

Ideas?

Does your Axim "turn on" after you insert the SD card (the unit is off before you insert the SD card)? Mine turns on after I insert the SD card and so I assume that's how it recognizes that it is in use.

Yes, it "turns on" when I insert the card, but still doesn't "see" it. I read somewhere else here that it'll turn on even with the plastic blank. Nice try though!
