Where to buy flash memory in new york ?

i have some friends going to new york in december,
and they told that they can buy anything for me.
so is there good places, cheaper, to buy compact
flash or sd cards in new york ?

I've bought from CompUSA on 57th & Broadway or J&R Computers when I have been in New York; if you're from outside the USA you don't actually save much unless the exchange rate is well in your favour, otherwise use a local online supplier, for the UK I use dabs (EBuyer are unreliable and some of their business practices could be best described as highly questionable)

Wondering where Workingman is hiding?

Here in the USA, went online at Staples, ordered 1GB CF and
1GB Sandisk storage cards, were delivered the next day.

Filled out their online rebate. Then, in a few weeks received
fourty bucks from Scandisk for the promo ($20 per card).
Don't know if the rebate is still on. I just regret not purchasing a few spares.

J & R also has a website. Order online and they ship anywhere
however, don't know if they ship off-shore.

if anyone can still help... it would be great.
i'm from brasil, and the exchange rate these days
aren't that bad, so it's a good time to buy imported
things. the axim, and the extra battery, i'm planning
to buy from ebay. i was going to buy a microdrive, but
for what i have seen on my searches, microdrives have
some imcompatibility. that's sad, because the price x storage
rate is good on microdrives...

well. j&r computers have really good prices.
they have good prices on pny flash cards.
both sd and cf 1gb are 40 bucks !
i think i'll buy 2 sd and 1 cf, all 1gb capacity.
