had my 1g transcend card quite some time. Quick loading lots of GPS maps, no problems. I'd buy another without hesitation.

Transcend is the best I've used. They have never given me any problems in any of the Axims I've owned.

Just to toss my hat into the ring...never tried a Transcend, but I have a Kingston Elite Pro 2GB CF card that works perfectly...and FAST! Works great in my x50v and my wife's x5.

You may want to keep your eyes open for that card while you're looking around.

I have the 150x 4GB model of the Transcend. If there was a 4GB version of the 150x RiData card I would get that instead, but that card does not exist yet. My 2GB RiData is faster (using same formatting) in a card reader/writer and also a hair better in Spb Benchmark on the PDA.

If I needed to buy another 2GB SD card I'd go for the 150x RiData again because performance in a (compliant) card reader matters to me. If ultimate card reader/writer performance does not matter to you, either card will be very good. Overall I'd say, get a 150x 2GB card; today that means one of A-Data, RiData, Transcend.

buy.com has an ATP 2GB Promax (150X) card for $163.99. Seems like a decent deal on a nice card.

That is about 50$ more than the 150x A-Data and $40 more than the 150x RiData. The latter is a very, very fast card. I never had an ATP card so I wonder what justifies the price premium that they usually carry? The reliability of all my 60x-plus cards has been good; and I don't expect to be dunking them in coke. How about speed, compared to SanDisk EIII?

I got one of those cards about a month or so ago for about a month ago and it is great. The only problem I have with it is that it is so thick that when I take it out of my X3i, it pushes the lock tab into lock position and I have to remember to unlock it when I put it in my card reader to add/delete files to it. Also, it is heavier than the lower capacity cards, so it doesn't eject easily when I push down on it to pop it out. It pops up far enough that I have to take a fingernail or the tip of the stylus to push it up high enough for my fingers to grasp it. I can't wait for the 4 gb SD cards to start dropping in price although I hope they're no heavier than this one.
