We've been running that one every other week throughout the holidays (sometimes the Sandisk one). Also Hitachi 4GB Microdrive for $99 AR and 1GB SD for $45 AR this week.

PNY is the slowest card I have ever used.

Try this instead, same price, 120X, lifetime warrenty, no rebate required.

PNY does not honor their rebates

I purchased a PNY card from Fry's Electronics and dutifully (and quickly) sent in my rebate forms and receipt. PNY did not send me the check.

3 months later I called them and asked about my rebate's whereabouts. PNY said they had a record of receiving my stuff and did not know what happened so they asked me to resend it. I resent a copy of my original submission and STILL do not have my rebate and it has been more than 2 months now.

Accordingly, I recommend steering clear of PNY products even if there is no rebate involved for them to renege on, because this shows they don't care about customers.

I just received my Ridata 1g and 2g sd cards from Newegg. The 1 gig works fine. The 2 gig has been formatted several times, but it still shows half being free and the other half being used, but there are no files on the card. I've emailed newegg, and waiting on a reply.

That is why I don't post them-they are typically not that great of a deal, especially when mail-in rebates are involved. And the two brands we run on sale, PNY and SanDisk, are not favored on these forums.

Grymwish,

Check this out: http://www.ritekusa.com/absupport_all.asp?catid=8

Click on the picture of the card, a download will begin which is supposed to be a fix for your problem.

The fix only got me half way there. It formatted the card to 2 gig, but windows only sees half of it. When trying to copy files, it craps out at 967 meg. Windows format will only allow me to format it to 967 meg, but the utility will format the whole thing.
Windows properties sees the whole 2 gig, but won't utilize the second half.

Any ideas?
