Sd/cf
Hi,

As a newbie X51v owner (as of last week)... I'm very chuffed with my device; it's smart, clear and does lots, so still on my 'gadget honeymoon'!

I've a question though - can you plug both a SD AND a CF card in at the same time, such that both are recognised?

Cheers,
Stu

First let me welcome you to Aximsite
Yes you can have both an SD and a CF in and working at the same time however if it comes to a choice between the two, you should go with SD and leave the CF free for other accessories such as a CF camera or a CF FM radio. There are more of these accessories in CF than in SD format.

BTW I'm guessing "chuffed" is a good thing, I've never heard that word.

I keep all my programs on SD. And music on my CF. Both are in all the time.

Welcome to the site. You will find people here friendly and very helpful. They are ready to give their advise and experiences so if you have other questions do a search of the site first and if what you want to know is not listed by some one ask away.

I keep my data on my SD card and movies on my CF card. Both are available while inserted individually or together in their respective slots.

A camera using the CF slot? That is too cool. Are there any sites that review these or have feature comparisons? I may be out without my digicam and having something like this would be quite handy.

I have the VEO Photo Traveler: http://www.veo.com/Traveler_PocketPc/default.asp

It's not a replacement for a real digital camera but it's not too bad and is fun to use as a web cam too.
