From the online manual:
Your device has two slots located on the top of the unit. The larger slot supports CompactFlash Type II cards. The smaller slot supports Secure Digital (SD) memory cards, Secure Digital I/O (SDIO) cards, and the MultiMediaCard (MMC). All three memory card types are available in sizes from 64 MB to 1 GB or 2 GB.
I'm planning on purchasing the PocketBible NIV Study Bible Bundle from Laridian.com. PocketBible, DailyReader and Memorize! programs require approximately 1.2MB main memory. Bibles and books can be loaded on a storage card and require up to 30MB if all installed.
My question to you (from someone new to modern handhelds), which card do I use? Would it be better for me to buy a card for the larger slot that supports CompactFlash Type II cards or the smaller slot that supports SD cards?
It shouldn't matter which card you install it to. At this point, you can just go by card price/availability, etc. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that if it's a program you always want to have on your device, you might want to install it into internal memory (if space permits). That way if you ever remove or switch memory cards, you will still have access to the program.

before you buy that one try http://www.olivetree.com/store/catal...p-1-c-259.html
purchase one version and you can download the rest for free. I carry BBE, Darby's, The Message, Modern KJV, WEB, Young's and I only had to buy the NIV.
I use both types of cards in my Axim. I tend to keep my GPS maps on the CF card and apps and documents on the SD card only because my CF is 2Gb (maps can take up a lot of space) and the SD is 1Gb. Don't notice any difference regarding speed as to which load faster. CF tends to be a few bucks cheaper.

but you can install onto either SD or CF.
I use this bible application also. I have stored the 8 bibles versions I have on my SD card and the application in my Axims ROM memory. For a while I had the bibles on my CF card. I have a new microdrive just for movies and larger music files so moved the bibles to my SD card. Both have worked fine for me.
