Topram 4gb SD card + x51v?
Hey Y'all,

Is anyone using a Topram 4gb SD card in the x51v? Is it compatible?

Any other 4gb cards working in the x51v?

I've seen this come up in other posts but it doesn't seem to stay on topic long enough to be resolved.

Thanks!

Seeing all the responses you got in this thread I'd say noone ever heard of Topram cards. I certainly had not heard of this brand until you mentioned it. When I googled for it the only match was on eBay; I could not find any reputable online retailer who carries this card... not a good sign.

There are three well-known 4GB SD card models today: all 150x cards by A-Data, RiData, and Transcend. Actually, the RiData is the latest addition, so very little is known about it. Anyway, this is the card which I would buy, hoping that the 4GB model is as outstanding as the 2GB card. The Transcend 4GB is unimpressive. I have no experience with the A-Data. Judging by posts from other members of this board and another the 4GB A-Data and Transcend cards appear to be similar.

Both the A-Data and Transcend cards work with the x50 family so they must work in the x51, also. I would be very much surprised if the 4GB RiData did not work.
