SD or CF

Hi all,

I recently got myself the Axim x51v and it's working good so far. I'm going to be getting TomTom Navigator 5 and would like to know if it's better to go with an SD card or a CF? I saw a post that has a benchmark of several different SD cards and CF and it seems one of the SD cards performs better with read/write. Would it be better to get and SD card or a CF/II card? Is there a specific brand that gives better performance?

Thanks in advance. I've read through the storage forum and got some ideas but just posting to get some additional feedback.

Welcome to Aximsite,

I'll go with an SD card and leave your CF slot free for other peripherals if needed. I used Lexar and Kingston and never had any problems.

but xyou can Chand SD card while PDA is running or better shut down and change!

you can take sd or cf cards out with pda on as long as it is not reading or writing to it at the time of removal if you insert or remove one when its off the pda turns on
