SD slot disappears on my axim
I was watching a movies that are stored on sd cards using TCPMP. In two instances the movies would inexplicably freeze. I exit the application and try to restart the movie. TCPMP would not "see" the sd slot. The sd slot is also missing when I check it via settings-->memory. After a soft reset and reinserting the sd card, the sd slot reappears. This has happened with two diferent sd cards (a 1gb Sandisk and 1gb Kingston). I'm running WM2003se A03 ROM on my x50v. Is this a sign of something serious?

Have you applied the ActiveSync fake server trick as yet? If you have not then look here for a sticky on the main X50,X51 page for it and follow the instructions. I have and its removed 100% any SD or CF card loss issues. It also takes care of battery loss while your unit is in the off condition as well as the 'white screen of death' that occurs when putting your unit into the sync cradle while it is off.

Try installing A05 ROM upgrade, this might help.
