Slow CF card.
Hi,

I have just taken delivery of a Kingston 1GB CF card (CF/1024). I have just spent absolutely ages transferring data from the SD card to the CF card, mainly MP3s. I have a X51v. Is this right? Is CF that slow?

Are you using ActiveSync for this transfer or a USB CF card reader? From my experience you are using the ActiveSync method which is way way slower. I would recomend getting a good 6-1 card reader. I transfer all of my larger files with this method (larger files example: mp3s, movies, pictures). Just my experience.

No, I am using the Axim. Having looked about a bit on the forum, it looks as if it is the bus speed of the Axim that is the problem. A card reader sounds sensible.
