I use Dabs - a couple of quid more but I found them more reliable than EBuyer - who have a very bad rep for returns and have a nasty habit of cancelling orders without telling you.
As for purchasing from the states; some companies in the US don't ship outside the US and generally the best deals are because of Mail In Rebates (MIR)but if you want to order alot of stuff from the states their is a service called "MY US" or something similar that lets you have a US postal address and forwards stuff onto you - You will get hit for tax at this end; though it seems to be a bit hit and miss; I've had to pay on some things and not others. Savings can be made but add in the cost of postage and it is sometimes little different to a UK supplier.
If your going for a storage card Kingston and Lexar are ones I've always found reliable both in SD and CF - if you're thinking of a Microdrive I have a spare 2GB Hitachi (retail not one extracted from an MP3 player) if you're interested.
