Image Size

The X51V has a screen size of 3.7" diagonally.
The largest single image that I can get on screen occupies roughly half of the screen or less. Have I missed something or is there a reason for it?
I am UK based and the manual I got with my system seems to bear little relationship with the actual options at some of the menus.
Have US customers got a different one?
There was a mention of categories in the manual but these seem to be replaced by class with a 'new class' menu item on the home page.
There should be a printable file showing which choices are available on which screen command.
The small image size bugs me most.

What sort of image, and what software are you using... I use my UK X50V to display full size photos taken straight out of my Canon Powershot
