Swelldisk? Anyone try it?

I was wondering if this thing is of any use? I'm not sure how useful compression is when dealing with avi or other binaries. They tend to be pretty compressed already. Any reports?

It's been asked, and no it won't. If we're talking text files or PDFs, then you may have some savings, but most AVIs, JPGs, or MP3's are already at maximum compression, so you're saving maybe a few bytes at best.

I do have a lot of books though, but this still isn't worth it then.

Oddly I did use the search facility before posting the question. No links turned up. Maybe I spelled it wrong.
