Compact Flash Type 1/Type 2 slot
Will Type 1 San Disk Ultra 2 CF work in the Axim X51 Type 2 slot? Are there any functional issues?

Axims will take either Type 1 or 2 cards without any problems.

Picked up a CF and didn't check type. It's 2 gig and didn't want to open package until I knew for sure.

I have a PNY 1GB CF I card and a 8gb CF II Seagate micro drive. Both fit into the X51V CF opening. A CF I type card will leave a small opening between the CF and SD slots where the CF II card fills the slot completely.

Not that im aware of other then sandisk cards dont seem to work well with aximes.its hit or miss on some of them but if you already have it try it.either it will recognize it or wont .it shouldnt hurt the axim.
