Beware of 140x cf card from VGI

I bought the 140x VGI CF card from local computer store, but I found out it is 3 times slower than my ATP 60x SD card.

VGI CF
6Gb read or write took 6 mintues through usb2 card reader

ATP SD
6Gb took 2 miniutes to complete :exc:

Well, to be fair, that CF card's maximum transfer rate is going to be around 9Mb/s based on the description of the VGI CF cards I found on the BestBuy site, versus the 9MB/s rate given for the ATP, so I'd expect things to go at least a TAD slower.

That 9Mb/s translates into 1.125MB/s... so i'm surprised that it only took you 6 minutes to do the transfer on the VGI... :D

You probably meant 0.6GB in 2 minutes...

yes, should be 600Mb/2min for ATP,
6min for VGI.
I'm not surprise if the 140x CTX cf card has the same performance.
